Patiala, May 8 - Today in Patiala, a large number of farmers gathered to gherao Moti Mahal in the village Sihra of Rajpura, demanding arrest in connection with the death of a farmer who died during the dharna of BJP candidate from Patiala Lok Sabha constituency, Preneet Kaur. Heavy police force was deployed around the palace to deal with the situation.
   The police had made concrete arrangements to stop the farmers. During this, farmers raised slogans of BJP and Preneet Kaur Murdabad. Meanwhile, farmer leaders said that their fellow farmers who were coming to surround Moti Mahal were stopped by the police on the way. Many farmers have been stopped at the Jat toll plaza near Rajpura. Was also stopped at Fuara Chowk. Farmer leader Balkar Singh said that his fellow farmers have also been arrested by the police.
