Jammu- An army jawan posted on duty along the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir was injured in firing. The officer said the jawan was posted at a forward post in Kalsian area of ??Nowshera sector when a bullet hit him from across the border. The injured jawan has been admitted to the Army Hospital in Udhampur after initial treatment. Officials said the reason for the firing is being investigated.
According to officials, a blast was also heard at the Zero Line around 6 am, after which three rounds were fired. There is no news of any casualty at the moment.
