On this occasion, he said that the work done by Shri Rajiv Gandhi for the country will always be remembered. His contribution to India's development can never be forgotten.
He said that at the age of 40, he became the youngest Prime Minister of India. Despite his young age, his thinking was very modern. He wanted to make India corruption free. He said that Rajiv Gandhi laid the foundation of the country's modern digital infrastructure, which was later given new dimensions by Shri Rahul Gandhi. Due to the revolution in the IT sector, today lakhs of youth are getting employment, and people do not have to stand in long queues for government work.
