
Mohali Police nabs factory lock-breakers
SAS Nagar, May 21- Mohali Police has arrested two persons who broke the locks of a factory located in Phase 9 Industrial Area and committed theft. Giving details, DSP City 2 Mr. Harsimran Singh Bal informed that Harpreet Singh, owner of Plot No. 474 in Phase 9 Industrial Area had lodged a complaint that on the night of May 7-8, some unknown auto drivers broke the locks of his factory and stole an LED, two laptops, keys of a Kia car, an inverter, an Exide battery, and water pots.

Giving details, DSP City 2 Mr. Harsimran Singh Bal informed that Harpreet Singh, owner of Plot No. 474 in Phase 9 Industrial Area had lodged a complaint that on the night of May 7-8, some unknown auto drivers broke the locks of his factory and stole an LED, two laptops, keys of a Kia car, an inverter, an Exide battery, and water pots.
He further informed that a case was registered in this regard at Phase 11 Police Station under Sections 331(4) and 305 of the BNS. During investigation led by Inspector Aman, Head of Phase 11 Police Station, police on the information of informer arrested Lalu Ram, resident of village Sorpur, District Deoria, UP (presently near Kali Mata Mandir, Baba Ka Vaihra, Jagatpura) and Ramesh Bahadur, resident of village Deharan, Tehsil Dolpa, Police Station Libara, District Dolpa (presently Sector 82, Mohali).
One HP Laptop, One Lenovo Black Laptop, One OnePlus LED, One Kia Car Key, One Chisel, One Hammer, and One Auto Rickshaw No. PB-65 AZ 6155 were recovered from them. Section 317(2) of BNS was added in the case. Arrested accused were produced before the Hon'ble Court. Investigation is in progress.
