According to the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the Patiala sweep team under the leadership of the District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Patiala Sakshi Sahni in the camp of the NCC Air Wing running at Ryan International School campus to the cadets on the importance of voter registration and vote payment for the strengthening of democracy. Awareness was created and awareness was given to link the Aadhaar number with the voter card. In today's program, Group Captain Ajay Bhardwaz, Patiala Sweep District Nodal Officer Prof. Savinder Singh Rekhi was welcomed.
Prof. Savinder Singh Rekhi encouraged voter registration by keeping in touch with the respective BLOs through voter helpline app and offline method. He asked the students to actively participate in the democratic process under their responsibility and duty while telling the future of Young India. At this time, Prof. Rekhi also administered an oath to the cadets to participate impartially in various elections. Information about voter apps was also given at this time.
