New Delhi, October 30 (Paigam-E-Jagat) Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday targeted the central government over the train accident in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the same way the government showed enthusiasm in flagging off some trains, the same should be shown in taking steps for railway safety and passenger welfare. He issued a statement on social media platform X (earlier Twitter) expressing grief over the train accident. Congress president Kharge said that he was deeply saddened to learn about the train derailment incident in Andhra Pradesh's Vijayanagaram district. Expressing deep sympathy with the bereaved families, he said that we pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. He also appealed to the Congress workers to provide all possible help.
