Una, October 27 - As per the instructions of District Red Cross President and Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma, a one-day basic training on first aid to deal with emergency situations was given by the Red Cross Society on Friday at Government College, Chintpurni and Maharana Pratap College, Amb. 60 young Red Cross group members from Chintpurni College and 50 from Amb College participated in the training camp.
During the training, trainer Parveen Mahajan from St. John Ambulance, while training the college students, gave complete information about the qualities and what to do in first aid. He informed the students of Youth Red Cross about first aid, tying bandages and effective methods to save a person in an emergency.
On this occasion, Principal Darshan Dhiman, staff members Suruchi Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Vandana Kaundal and members of DDMA were also present.
