Sohan Singh Thandal demanded that where there are big trees near the road which lean on the road during rain or storm, the forest department should immediately solve the problem of their removal.
He said that for traffic safety, tippers carrying sand and gravel from Mahalpur to Kot Fatuhi or Mihtiana to Phuglana also often cause accidents. If these tippers are sent via Hoshiarpur, the route will be only 2 km long but the road will be better and accidents will be avoided.
He said that he has met Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Ashika Jain regarding all these problems, has also spoken to Deputy Speaker Jaikrishnan Singh Raudi and will now take up this matter with the MP and MLA as well.
