All citizens must update their and their children's Aadhar cards - ADC

In this regard, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amarbir Kaur Bhullar said that according to the report received from UIDAI New Delhi, Aadhar cards of 55,120 children below the age of 5 years have not been made yet in Hoshiarpur district. Along with this, Aadhar cards of 8,370 children between the ages of 5 and 18 years have not been made, while mandatory biometric updates of 1,37,623 citizens are pending.
He said that many citizens in the district neither have their mobile numbers linked to their Aadhaar cards nor have their biometrics updated, due to which they face difficulties while availing government or private services. He appealed to all the citizens of the district to go to their nearest service center and get their and their children's Aadhaar cards made or updated, so that in future there is no inconvenience for office work or any other need.
District IT Manager Karamjit Singh said that Aadhaar related services are available in all the service centers of Hoshiarpur district. Keeping in mind the convenience of the citizens, Aadhaar counters are working in the service center located at the Mini Secretariat. Apart from this, Aadhaar card service is also available on Sundays in SDM offices Mukerian, Garhshankar, Tehsil Tanda, Dasuha and other service centers.
