Nawanshahr: Great preacher of Sikhism and Chief Patron of Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society Giani Sarabjit Singh has returned from UK tour. He told that the Sangat of Doaba living there is very appreciating the religious and social welfare services being done by Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society.

The publicity means being adopted by the Society in the religious field include a series of about 25 programs every year. A large number of devotees participate in the Gurmat Samaroh and the three-day Mahan Kirtan Darbar. They not only watch it live through the media but also connect other people with it.
The social service activities of the Society include free eye operations through camps and dispensaries, free treatment of patients, free medicines, free coaching centers in the field of education, free training centers for meritorious children, annual awards, financial assistance to needy children and visits to Kartarpur Sahib and other Gurudwaras.
Punjabis of his region usually talk about such events held in Gurudwaras. Giani Sarabjit Singh said that this is the reason why the Society's Deputy Chief Sevadar Didar Singh, who is on a UK tour tomorrow, will be honored in various major Gurudwara Sahibs there. And information about other works of the Society is being obtained by giving time from the platforms.
Sarabjit Singh said that Didar Singh is also running other services of the Society, which include giving information about Municipal Public Park and Mini Jungle etc. Special interest has been shown in these projects. The land that has been purchased for the construction of Guru Nanak Bhawan to bring these services on one platform is also being seen as a very good initiative.
He said that the Sangat will make every possible effort with body, mind and money for the construction of this building and the upcoming Kirtan events. Assurance of service has also been given. Along with this, S. Didar Singh was given the title of Gurdwara Khalsa Darbar Derby, Gurdwara Darbar Sri Guru Granth Sahib. York Shire Sikh Forum Bradfort UK and other local Gurdwara Sahibs were also honoured by inviting them to Birmingham.
