Garhshankar, June 9- Punjab Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker and Garhshankar constituency MLA Shri Jai Krishan Singh Raudi today presented a big gift to the village police station by presenting a solar system which will provide lighting in the public places of the village through self-powered energy.
On this occasion, Sarpanch Mrs. Suman Bala, Panch Davinder Kaur Panch, Meena Rani, Panch Amrik Lal, Committee Member Amarjit Singh, Kulwant Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Sodhi Singh Gurmeet Ram Numberdar Nirmal Singh, Dharmendra, Rohit Kumar, Jaskaran and many other villagers were present. Everyone appreciated this step and thanked Deputy Speaker Raudi wholeheartedly.
On this occasion, the Deputy Speaker said that he is always committed to the development of villages and clean energy system is being brought to the villages through modern technology, so that even in poor and backward areas, simple facilities can be available.
The villagers expressed happiness and said that solar energy will not only save electricity, but it is also a good initiative for the environment.
