During which Mrs. Parminder Kaur Manchanda and Red Cross Retired Training Supervisor Kaka Ram Verma gave information about the history of Red Cross, the War of Salferino, the services done by Mr. Jean Henry Dunant to save the lives of the affected soldiers, the Geneva Conventions, and the assistance and protection of the victims or wounded soldiers by Red Cross volunteers during wars, epidemics, disasters, help to the general public, Junior Red Cross activities, efforts being made to save humanity from drug crimes and diseases. 
The principal said that by making the students aware, a healthy, prosperous and safe society can be built. For which purpose, maximum volunteers should come forward. Apart from Amarjit Kaur, Pravinder Verma, Jaspreet Singh, counselors of Saket Hospital's Moor Basewa Center for Drug Abusers, Mr. Upkar Singh, President of Gyan Jyoti Education Society, Sub Inspector Ajit Kaur of Punjab Police Traffic Education Cell, ASI Ram Saran, NSS lecturer of the school, NCC officer, Scout Guide teachers said that it is necessary to make the children aware of health, fitness, safety, rescue, help, rituals, duties and responsibilities. 
The children took an oath that they will always strive honestly for the health, safety, respect, prosperity and progress of themselves and their families.
