Chaman Singh, Director, De-Addiction and Rehabilitation Center, Nawanshahr, expressed these views while interacting with the children at Jai Sandhu Public School, Langroa today. Chaman Singh said that the government has started the "War on Drugs" campaign to break the yoke of drugs.

We should consider it our social duty and give full support to this campaign of the government and the police administration so that we can create a healthy and fit Punjab. Along with this, Chaman Singh told the children that instead of wasting money on drugs, we should take interest in buying a good book and reading so that we can adopt good moral values. Chaman Singh expressed concern over the increasing vices and deadly crimes in the society and told the children that the main reason for these are the people suffering from drug abuse.
He said that drugs are not a solution to any disease or concern. Therefore, we should always treat the drug addict well and take care of him and take the help of social service organizations and drug de-addiction centers to get him out of this mess.
On this occasion, Principal Daljit Singh Gill thanked Director Chaman Singh and told the children to implement the teachings given by him. Today's seminar was presided over by Madam Anita Manager and Principal Daljit Singh.
Among the speakers, Chaman Singh Project Director Red Cross Integrated Rehabilitation Center for Drug Victims Nawanshahr, Balvir Kumar Teacher shared their views. On this occasion, the staff Kulvir Kumar, Balvir Kumar, Parminder Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur, Anita Kumari, Sunil Kumari, and about 200 students were present.
