
Sensex jumps 1300 points to cross 78,300, Nifty also rises 357 points.
Mumbai: Today, i.e. Thursday, April 17, the stock market has improved after the decline. Sensex is trading at 78,358 with an increase of about 1313 points. In the morning, Sensex saw a decline of about 350 points. On the other hand, Nifty is also registering a rise of 357 points. It has crossed 23,794. On April 16, foreign investors bought shares worth Rs 3,936.42 crore. While Indian domestic investors sold shares worth Rs 2,512.77 crore. Global markets see slight decline

Global markets see slight decline
On April 16, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 699 points (1.73%), the Nasdaq Composite fell 516 points (3.07%) and the S&P 500 index fell 121 points (2.24%).
In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei rose 291 points (0.86%) to 34,212. Korea's KOSPI rose 15 points (0.63%) to 2,463.
China's Shanghai Composite rose 0.21% to 3,283. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 1.48% to 21,369.
The stock market gained 309 points yesterday.
Yesterday, Wednesday, April 16, the stock market saw a rise after a decline. The Sensex closed 309 points higher at 77,044. It recovered 500 points from the day's low. The Nifty also closed 109 points higher at 23,437. It recovered 164 points from the day's low.
