Bhagwant Singh Mann said that during the previous governments, government schools were just ‘mid-day-meal centres’ instead of education.
The Chief Minister said that those who deprived students of quality education and those who have desecrated the holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib are being punished for their sins. He said that the people have already removed such leaders from power and now they are in political obscurity. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Punjabis will never forgive these culprits for their sins and will teach them a lesson.

Along with this, the officers will prepare the students for competitive examinations and ensure training to the teachers to upgrade their skills.
