Garhshankar 20 March- Bhagwant Singh Mann government called the farmer leaders of Shambhu Border and Khanauri Border to Chandigarh for talks in connivance with the central government and betrayed them by arresting the farmer leaders in Mohali.
All India Kisan Sabha State Secretary Darshan Singh Mattoo and State Vice President Gurnek Singh Bhajjal strongly condemned this act and said that this act has been done to protect the interests of corporate houses. The right to speak and protest is being snatched away in a democratic country India.
Under the scheme of giving water, forest and land to Adani-Ambani, farmers are not being allowed to go to either the capital of Punjab Chandigarh or the capital of the country Delhi. Both the leaders condemned the repression being carried out by the Bhagwant Mann government at the behest of the Center and demanded the immediate release of the arrested farmers.
