Hoshiarpur-District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Office will register the youth for the Prime Minister's Internship Scheme by running a special campaign from March 17 to 21. Under the scheme, 12 months of training is being given in 500 leading companies of the country so that the youth can get the opportunity to get the required training and experience.
Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that the youth receiving training will get a one-time financial assistance of Rs 6000 and a monthly allowance of Rs 5000 and this will be a beneficial opportunity for them to gain experience in prestigious companies. It is worth mentioning that the age of the applicant should be 21 to 24 years and he should be registered for full-time study or employment.
