Chandigarh, March 4, 2025- The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) is all set to host its much-anticipated Annual Cultural Programme, “Hunar–2025,” on March 5, 2025, at the CDOE Auditorium, Panjab University, Chandigarh. This vibrant event aims to showcase the immense talent and creative skills of distance learners, fostering a sense of belonging and cultural engagement among students.
The inaugural session will be graced by Prof. Amit Chauhan, Dean Student Welfare, as the Chief Guest, along with Prof. Simrit Kahlon, Dean Student Welfare (Women), as the Guest of Honour. The valedictory session will feature Prof. Yojna Rawat, Director, Research and Development Cell, as the Chief Guest, and Prof. Sanjay Kaushik, Dean College Development Council, as the Guest of Honour.
A diverse array of on-stage events promises to captivate the audience, including poetry recitation, declamation, solo singing, classical/folk dance, and mimicry. Simultaneously, off-stage competitions such as poster making, photography, rangoli making, mehndi art, best out of waste, and collage making will provide students with a platform to express their artistic ingenuity.
Organised under the guidance of Prof. Harsh Gandhar, Director, CDOE, the event is spearheaded by a dedicated organizing committee including faculty and students of CDOE.
With an exciting lineup of performances and creative expressions, “Hunar–2025” promises to be an unforgettable celebration of talent, creativity, and cultural spirit. The event will commence at 9:00 a.m. onwards, inviting all students to witness and participate in this grand showcase of artistic excellence.
