1 March Nawanshahr- Social Education teacher Surinder Pal retired from Government High School Alachor of nearby village Alachor. On the occasion of his retirement, a grand party was given by the school staff and students. A cultural program was presented by the school students. Addressing on this occasion, retired headmaster Sarwan Singh said that Surinder Pal was always dedicated to his work and the result of his subject Social Education was always 100 percent.
Madam Sukhwant Kaur read the letter of appreciation of Surinder Pal. On behalf of the SMC committee, Des Raj Bali said that the good results and dedication towards the students during the teacher's tenure will be remembered for a long time. The role of stage secretary was played by state awardee teacher Dimpy Khurana. Surinder Pal was specially honored by the entire school staff and teachers of other schools by giving him gifts. Surinder Pal donated an amount of Rs 10 lakh.
He gave Rs. 21,000 to the school and felicitated all the children, mid-day meal workers and class IV workers of the school with refreshments. Surinderpal was accompanied by his wife Sunita Rani, Amarjit, Harjinder Lal Bhai, Baljit Kaur, Nirmal Kumar and other family members.
