21 February Hoshiarpur- As part of the series of workshops being organized by Punjab Nursing Registration Council Mohali under the leadership of Registrar Dr. Puneet Girdhar, a one-day awareness workshop was organized for nursing staff at Hem Raj Kapoor Memorial Auditorium DAV College Hoshiarpur under the management of Shri Guru Ramdas College of Nursing Hoshiarpur.
21 February Hoshiarpur- As part of the series of workshops being organized by Punjab Nursing Registration Council Mohali under the leadership of Registrar Dr. Puneet Girdhar, a one-day awareness workshop was organized for nursing staff at Hem Raj Kapoor Memorial Auditorium DAV College Hoshiarpur under the management of Shri Guru Ramdas College of Nursing Hoshiarpur.
In which staff members of nursing colleges related to Hoshiarpur and Nawanshahr districts participated. The workshop was started by singing shabads and lighting candles. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh was the chief guest and MP Dr. Raj Kumar was the special guest. On this occasion, Principal of Shri Guru Ramdas College of Nursing Dr. Dimple Sandhu welcomed the chief guests, principals and staff members of nursing colleges.
On this occasion, MP Dr. Raj Kumar, while speaking, explained the importance of nursing profession and congratulated all the staff members for providing good health facilities to the people and students. He said that such workshops will help the nursing staff to know about the changes coming from time to time.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh congratulated everyone for the workshop and said that the workshop organized under the leadership of Council Registrar Dr. Puneet Girdhar will prove to be very beneficial for the staff members of the nursing college. He said that the profession of nursing is a profession related to public service.
He motivated the staff to teach the students on time, so that after completing their studies, they can provide good health facilities to the people without any discrimination. On this occasion, Registrar of Punjab Nursing Registration Council Dr. Puneet Girdhar addressed and shared the objectives of the workshop focusing on the importance of quality education.
He said that there are a total of 30 lakh nurses in India, but our main objective is to provide good health facilities to the people and increase the knowledge of the students so that the nursing staff can achieve the set target. On this occasion, speaker Dr. Sukhpal Kaur, Principal Nine PGI motivated the teachers to maintain mutual coordination and harmonious relations in the nursing profession.
On this occasion Madam Dildeep Kaur, Principal Government Nursing Institute CH Ropar spoke about the problems and challenges faced during the conduct of theoretical and preliminary examinations of GNM and ANM. Dr Davinder Kaur, Principal Gyan Sagar College Rajpura (Patiala) spoke about the latest technologies to enhance the quality of education in the modern era.
