Nabha, October 2 - Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav visited Nabha Mandi today and reviewed the procurement arrangements for paddy. On this occasion, while talking to the farmers, he said that farmers will not face any difficulty while selling their produce in any market of the district. And if there is any problem at any place, the concerned SDMs or Mandi Board officials can be contacted.
Dr. Preeti Yadav said that although the arrival of paddy in the markets is still low, but the arrival will accelerate in the coming days. He said that the Patiala district administration has made proper arrangements for the purchase of paddy in the district under the instructions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the farmers who brought their produce to the market will not face any problem. He said that all arrangements including drinking water, lights, tarpaulins, cleaning of bathrooms are complete in the markets. He said that all the SDMs and Mandi Board officials of the district are committed to facilitate the farmers who bring crops to the market.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the farmers to bring only the dry crop with specified moisture in the market so that their crop is sold as soon as it comes to the market, after which the payment also goes to the farmer's bank account digitally.
