Need to be aware of technologies like machine intelligence instead of being afraid: Zafar

Patiala, February 15- The two-day conference organized by the Language Department, Punjab on the topic 'Word Technology and the Future of Humanity' concluded in the seminar hall of Bhasha Bhawan, Patiala. During which very serious reflection was done during various sessions. On the last day of the conference, Director Language Department Mr. Jaswant Singh Zafar said in his vote of thanks that we should accept technologies like machine intelligence and update ourselves to be aware of it, that is, we should move forward by understanding its nuances.

On the last day of the conference, Director Language Department Mr. Jaswant Singh Zafar said in his vote of thanks that we should accept technologies like machine intelligence and update ourselves to be aware of it, that is, we should move forward by understanding its nuances.
On the second and last day of the conference, Gurpreet Mansa shared his experiences about the creative process with the audience by giving the example of creating poetry through the tools of machine intelligence. Barinder Kaur said that machine intelligence is less sensitive than humans. Therefore, it cannot compete with the creation made by humans. We should not become machines with machines and should continue our creative process.
Dr. Mohan Tyagi said that AIE has its limitations, it cannot present a complete picture of the nuances of the culture of any region. It is a slave of man and can help man. Dr. Manmohan said that with the development of human civilization, there are always changes in technology. That is, technology keeps developing. Instead of opposing its development, we should use it. And become equal to it. This session was conducted by Dr. Amarjit Singh.
During the second session, Hira Singh, S. Jaswinder Singh and Kulwinder Singh discussed the topic 'Importance of Machine Intelligence in Language Industry'. Speaking on the topic 'Language and Identity Issues in Digital Age', Dr. Imratpal Singh said that our identity is based on caste, religion and class.
Which is eternal and it never leaves us. Dr. Davinder Singh, Sandeep Sharma also presented their views. At the end of the farewell session, Director Language S. Jaswant Singh Zafar thanked the audience as well as the speakers, moderator and the entire organizing team of the department.
