'Umang' organized 38th seminar on cyber security at Government Mahindra College

Patiala, February 3- Under the ongoing cyber security seminar under the guidance of 'Umang' Welfare Foundation Chairman Hardeep Singh Badungar and President Arvinder Singh, the 38th seminar was organized at Government Mahindra College, Patiala under the leadership of Principal Dr. Sukhwinder Singh. Arvinder Singh said that these seminars are being organized in government and non-government schools and colleges with the joint efforts of Umang's team and Shamsher Educational and Welfare Society so that awareness about cyber security can be spread to the entire society.

Patiala, February 3- Under the ongoing cyber security seminar under the guidance of 'Umang' Welfare Foundation Chairman Hardeep Singh Badungar and President Arvinder Singh, the 38th seminar was organized at Government Mahindra College, Patiala under the leadership of Principal Dr. Sukhwinder Singh. Arvinder Singh said that these seminars are being organized in government and non-government schools and colleges with the joint efforts of Umang's team and Shamsher Educational and Welfare Society so that awareness about cyber security can be spread to the entire society.
During the seminar, cyber expert Anurag Acharya informed the students and faculty about cyber threats and precautions. After this, the college principal Dr. Sukhwinder Singh appreciated the initiative and said that the aim of this program was to equip students with information tools to understand issues related to cyber security, including privacy, personal information and data threats. Apart from this, the Vice Principal of the college, Professor Romi, warmly welcomed the guest speaker and advised the students to be vigilant in the use of social media and digital platforms.
On this occasion, the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Professor Meenakshi and the entire faculty of the department, College Council Members Prof. Parminder Rekhi, Dr. S. S. Rekhi, Prof. Loveleen Parmar, Prof. Mohammad Sohail, Dr. Gaganpreet Kaur and college students were present.
