Hoshiarpur- The members of Rotary Club of Hoshiarpur were invited to visit Citrus E-State Bhunga. Jaspal Singh Deputy Director Horticulture congratulated and welcomed all the members along with his staff. A seminar on organic farming and kitchen gardening was organized.
Senior journalist Ajit, Madam Harpreet Kaur attended as special guests on this occasion. Shri Inder Khurana and his wife and industrialist of Phagwara joined the members as special guests. Women industrialist Sneh Jain, industrialist Surinder Vij, industrialist GS Bawa, Ravi Jain, Ashok Jain and school principals Timatani Ahluwalia, Lapi Ahluwalia, Suman Nayyar, Om Kanta, Yogesh Chandra, Surinder Kumar, Chandan Sarin etc. were present from Rotary Club.
Young farmer leader Amritpal Singh Randhawa and his wife shared their journey of success in turmeric cultivation. Another young farmer shared his experience of becoming the largest successful mushroom grower in the northern region. Guests and Rotarians were honored with flower bouquets and mementos. The event concluded with a lemonade tasting, a sumptuous lunch on the terrace and a social gathering under the sun.
