Hoshiarpur- For his exemplary performance during the Lok Sabha elections held last year, the Election Commission honoured Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal with the State Award for Overall Best Election Process on the occasion of National Voters Day in Ludhiana today.
Punjab Additional Chief Electoral Officer Harish Nayyar honoured Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal with a certificate of appreciation during a state-level function and appreciated her for her excellent performance in the district. After receiving the award, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that this award is a boost to the entire team involved in the election process and he hopes that the team of Hoshiarpur district will work with full commitment to complete free, fair and peaceful elections in the future as well.
Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that the staff involved in the election process showed excellent performance at the ground level and the entire process was completed in a smooth atmosphere and in a smooth manner, for which the entire team deserves congratulations. He said that the team also played an important role in making voters aware and telling the youth about the importance of voting. He also thanked the Election Commission for the necessary guidance from time to time.
