Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Komal Mittal has received the State Award for Best Election Staff from the Election Commission. The award will be given on the 15th National Voters' Day i.e. 25 January 2025. On Friday, the district administration received a message in this regard from the Chief Electoral Office, in which the name of the Deputy Commissioner has been selected for the overall best election staff.
Referring to this rare achievement, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal attributed this achievement to all the officers associated with the election staff in the district. He said that this award reflects the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm of the officers, who effectively carry out election related activities at the ground level along with ensuring free, fair and peaceful election process. He also appreciated the officers for the planned and continuous voter awareness programs emerging as a result of voter participation across the district.
The Deputy Commissioner urged the officers to work with enthusiasm to make voters aware, which will continue in future as well. He thanked the Chief Electoral Office for its guidance and support in undertaking election related activities from time to time.
