
*Meetings held at villages Siswan, Hoshiarpur and Mazra to listen to people's problems under Sampark Abhiyan*
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 18, 2025: As part of the Punjab Police Project Sampark campaign launched by Mr. Deepak Pareek IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police District SAS Nagar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Karnail Singh today held meetings at villages Siswan, Hoshiarpur and Mazra under Police Station Mullapur, Tehsil Kharar, District SAS Nagar to listen to people's problems.
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 18, 2025: As part of the Punjab Police Project Sampark campaign launched by Mr. Deepak Pareek IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police District SAS Nagar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Karnail Singh today held meetings at villages Siswan, Hoshiarpur and Mazra under Police Station Mullapur, Tehsil Kharar, District SAS Nagar to listen to people's problems.
During the meeting, villagers were encouraged to raise public grievances, strengthen trust and cooperation between police and citizens to resolve local problems. Along with this, people were also made aware about cyber crime cases and traffic rules. People were appealed not to let children below 18 years of age drive vehicles and it was also told that if a child below 18 years of age drives a vehicle then his parents can be imprisoned for 3 years and fined up to 25 thousand rupees and the person who gives a vehicle to a child below 18 years of age can also be imprisoned for 3 years or fined. Also, people were made aware about the Good Samaritan Award Scheme run by the government and it was told that if any person helps an accident victim then he will be given Rs 2000 by the government (under the Farishte Scheme).
People were appealed that if you have given any of your flats or houses on rent then you must get the police verification of your tenants done. On this occasion, Sarpanch Sanjeev Kumar of village Siswan, former Sarpanch Balwinder Singh of village Siswan, Sukhwinder Singh, Jagroop Singh, Surinder Singh, Sarpanch Bahadur Singh of village Hoshiarpur, former Sarpanch Saudagar Singh of village Hoshiarpur, Panchayat members Jagtar Singh, Makhan Singh, Sarpanch Satnam Singh of village Majra, Panchayat member Balwinder Kaur, Panchayat member Parwinder Kaur, Panchayat member Kaka Singh, Panchayat member Tarsem Singh, former Sarpanch Gyan Singh of village Majra and other villagers thanked the District Police and DSP Traffic for organizing this public meeting and said that the campaign started by SSP Mohali to listen to the complaints of the people and resolve them is a very important step.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Traffic S. Karnail Singh PPS finally assured the entire public that their complaints will be resolved soon.
