The Director of the department, Dr. Amar Inder Singh said that the Punjab Government has recently issued an advertisement for 322 posts for various posts including PCS. Students should take advantage of this golden opportunity. He said that classes for the new batch of IAS/PCS (Pre) Regular/Weekend have been started at the department.
He said that the department has been providing high-class training to the students for a long time at very low fees. A large library and other necessary equipment are available at the department and expert teachers of Punjabi University train the students here. Classes of IAS/PCS(Pre) regular course are held at the department from 9 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday and classes of IAS/PCS(Pre) weekend course are held from 9 am to 5 pm only on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend course is especially for the employed and regular students.
