Mohali- The dispute in Mohali Industries Association (MIA) continues. There is a tussle between Mukesh Bansal and Baljit Singh over the post of president of MIA. A few days ago, Mukesh Bansal was attacked by Baljit Singh's group in MIA Bhawan, the videos of which also went viral. Baljit Singh had alleged that he was attacked.
After this incident, despite the complaint given by Mukesh Bansal to the police, no case has been registered against any of those who attacked him. In protest against this, Mukesh Bansal along with other industrialists organized a press conference on Saturday. During this, he said that if the police do not register a case against the accused on his complaint within two days, then he will be forced to adopt the path of struggle and he will stage a dharna with his colleagues.
Addressing the press conference, Mukesh Bansal said that after the ongoing dispute over the post of president in MIA, on the orders of the DC, the SDM has issued a letter regarding holding the elections of the association. Despite this, Baljit Singh Blackstone is not following these orders. A few days ago, on 27 December, he went to MIA Bhawan with the members of his group regarding the orders issued by the SDM, where he was beaten up by the associates of Baljit Singh Blackstone.
After which he appealed to the police administration for action. But no case has been registered yet. On the other hand, General Secretary Dilpreet Singh Boparai said that the action being taken by Baljit Singh Blackstone by keeping the constitution of MIA at bay is completely wrong.
Due to this, MIA is getting a lot of bad name. He has appealed to the administration to get the voting done by appointing its observer for the MIA elections. On this occasion, former president Anurag Agarwal, Vivek Kapoor, Iqbal Singh and other MIA members were present with him.
