Una, December 12- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Thursday inaugurated the blood donation camp organized at the Regional Hospital Una on the occasion of the first anniversary of Anant Gyan Dainik Newspaper. On this occasion, he said that blood donation gives the privilege of saving a precious life. Also, this noble work also encourages the spirit of humanity and cooperation in the society.
Appreciating the blood donors participating in the camp, the Deputy Commissioner described their selfless service as an inspiration for the society. He urged the youth of the district to participate enthusiastically in such events. Blood donation also keeps the body healthy and by making the collected blood available to the needy people, it is also possible to save precious lives.
A total of 24 units of blood were collected in this one-day camp. Maharishi Valmiki Guru Ravidas Youth Ekta Mahasabha of District Una and other organizations of the district also participated in the blood donation camp.
During this, the youth participating in the blood donation camp were honored by Anant Gyan Dainik News Group by giving them mementoes and certificates. On this occasion, Bureau of Anant Gyaan Rajesh Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Food Supply Jagdish Dhiman, Dr. Sukhdeep Singh Sidhu, Dr. Rakesh Agnihotri, Dr. Swati Chhabra, Dr. Vikas, Jagat Ram Sharma and others were present.
