
Amarjeet and Lal Singh regained their eyesight after a long time - Sanjeev Arora
Hoshiarpur- Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplant Society, under the leadership of Pradhan and Chief Social Worker Sanjeev Arora, performed the ceremony of opening the blindfolds of 50-year-old Amarjit Singh Guru Nanak Nagar Malot and Lal Singh village Patti Meharmiya Moga by shining light on their eyes. This morning, this ceremony was organized in the hospital Moga. In which the Director of the hospital Dr. Rajiv Gupta and the Chairman of the Society J.B. Bahl were specially present.

On this occasion, Pradhan Sanjeev Arora said that Amarjit could not see with one eye for a long time and the vision of the other eye was very low and Lal Singh could not see with both eyes. He was a victim of blindness for a long time and he was provided new eyes and vision through Rotary Eye Bank.
Mr. Arora said that illuminating someone's dark life by giving light is the greatest virtuous act. Therefore, every member of the society is fulfilling the responsibility entrusted by God very well because what can be a greater act than using human birth for the benefit of humanity. Mr Arora said that eyes donated by one person bring light to the dark life of two people.
So let us make eye donation an integral part of life after death. On this occasion, Chief Eye Surgeon Dr. Rajiv Gupta congratulated both of them after the successful operation and said that the service that Rotary Eye Bank is providing to corneal blindness victims is invaluable.
He appealed to the people that today our society is moving forward on the strength of such social service organizations and he appealed to the people to come forward to fill the pledge form for eye donation.
Because till now the number of people suffering from corneal blindness in the country is very high. It is our responsibility to brighten someone's dark life by donating eyes after death. He also assured the society of all possible cooperation. On this occasion, Chairman J.B. Bahl informed the people present about the work being done by the society and said that till now more than 4100 people have been provided with light and 24 dead bodies have been sent to various medical colleges for research after death.
With the cooperation of the people, this process will continue in the future as well. He appealed to the people to support us in this noble cause so that light can be provided to the people forced to live in darkness. On this occasion, renowned eye surgeons from the society, Dr. Rohit and Dr. Akanksha Gupta and Prof. Daljit Singh and Madan Lal Mahajan were also present.
