SAS Nagar, November 21, 2024: Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner, Mrs. Ashika Jain, the District Red Cross Branch, in collaboration with the Blood Bank, PGI, Chandigarh team and NGOs, is organizing a voluntary blood donation camp and organ donation camp on November 27, 2024 at the District Administrative Complex, Sector-76, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
Giving this information, Dr. Ankita Kansal, Assistant Commissioner-cum-Unpaid Secretary, District Red Cross Branch appealed that people should participate in this camp with great enthusiasm regarding blood donation and considering the importance of organ donation, the youth should be motivated to donate organs.
Blood donation and organ donation service is a great and noble donation for the welfare of humanity, through which many precious lives can be saved and the needy can be helped to live a good life. This needs to be a mass movement because blood and organs can only be collected through donation.
