Hoshiarpur- Municipal Corporation Commissioner Jyoti Bala Mattu said that like every year, this year too the Punjab government has implemented a big relief scheme for the taxpayers. According to this scheme, if a taxpayer deposits his due property tax in full by 31-07-2025, then the interest and penalty on him will be completely waived.
The Commissioner said that the taxpayers are taking huge advantage of this scheme. Now only the last four days of this scheme are left. Therefore, everyone is strongly appealed to take advantage of this scheme by depositing their pending property tax by 31 July 2025.
Interest and penalty will start after 31 July, due to which people should consider this as the last opportunity and deposit their tax on time.
