Hoshiarpur - Regarding DAP fertilizer in Hoshiarpur district, Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Dipinder Singh said that continuous checking is being done to prevent all kinds of black marketing and tagging of unnecessary goods during the sale of DAP fertilizer in the district. Along with this, farmers were also informed about other phosphate fertilizers used as an alternative to DAP.
He said that the sellers of DAP fertilizer should ensure that the stock of fertilizer is immediately read to the farmers and a complete record of it is kept. He appealed to the farmers to use other available phosphate fertilizers for the wheat crop. At present, there are many other alternatives to DAP fertilizer, which include fertilizers like NPK, SSP and TSP.
