Hoshiarpur- Rayat Bahra Institute of Pharmacy organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the topic “Effective Education Process through Social Media” in collaboration with NITTTR, Chandigarh.
Organized under the leadership of Campus Director Dr. Chandra Mohan, faculty members from various educational institutions actively participated in the week-long program. In this, subject experts gave detailed information on topics like use of platforms like YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram, content creation, digital engagement, flipped classroom and ethical use of online tools.
On this occasion, College Principal Dr. Maninder Pal Singh said that in the changing times, teachers will have to adapt themselves according to digital trends. Social media is no longer just a means of communication, but has become an effective educational tool.
The teachers appreciated the program and said that all the sessions helped them in designing interactive learning for the students. At the end of the session, certificates were distributed to the participants and they shared their experiences.
