3 ultra modern operation theaters dedicated to patients in Rajindra Hospital

Patiala, October 22 - Minister of Medical Education and Research and Health and Family Welfare of Punjab Dr. Balbir Singh has said that the Punjab government has brought health revolution in the state. 
The Health Minister was here today to inaugurate 3 more ultra-modern, state-of-the-art modular operation theaters for ENT, Oncology and Pediatrics surgery at the Government Rajindra Hospital after renovation at a cost of Rs.6 crore to the patients. He said that earlier also 4 modular operation theaters were dedicated to patients at a cost of Rs 7.5 crore. Dr. Balbir Singh said that providing better health services to the residents of the state is the first priority of the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, under which Rajindra Hospital is being continuously upgraded by the government. 
He said that such operation theaters are in institutes like Aimj or PGI and these facilities are not even in big corporate hospitals, for which these modular operation theaters will prove to be a boon for the patients, as the operation of the patients will be done in a clean environment. The success rate will increase and patients will go home healthy.
The Minister of Medical Education and Research said that in these operation theaters, the air will be continuously changed every three to five minutes by laminar flow system and Hepha filter, and the temperature and humidity are controlled. There will be no danger. All equipment used here is prefabricated and wall mounted.
On one occasion DRME Dr. Avnish Kumar, Director Principal Dr. Dr. Rajan Singla, Medical Superintendent. Girish Sahni, Dr. Deepali, ENT. Head of Dr. Dr. Sanjeev Bhagat, Oncology Surgeon. Experience, Pediatrics Surgeon Dr. Ravi Kumar and other expert doctors were also present.
