Hoshiarpur - The family members of late Mrs. Sarla Devi, wife of Mr. Om Prakash, a resident of Lower Dairy Bahadurpur, donated her eyes through Eye Donation Association Hoshiarpur after her death. The team of eye donation organization Hoshiarpur led by president Manmohan Singh reached the house of the deceased and completed the process of eye donation.
On this occasion, Prof. Bahadur Singh Suneet, patron of the institution, said that the eyes donated by the late Sarla Devi will continue to see even after her departure from the world and will continue to illuminate two dark lives. On this occasion, the secretary of the organization, Baljit Singh, while thanking the family for this good work, said that only because of such great donors, this organization has been able to provide light to thousands of blind people. On this occasion, Santosh Saini, a member of Netradan organization, said that the city of Hoshiarpur has got the status of a city of donors and the world will always remember the donors dedicated to the service of humanity.
