Patiala, July 24 - A one day conference was organized at Krishi Vigyan Kendra of Punjab Agricultural University, Patiala for interaction between alumni and entrepreneurs. During the event, Dr. Guruupdesh Kaur, Professor cum Incharge shared the concept of bringing students back to KVKs to share their ideas and provide feedback to scientists and guide them to overcome the obstacles in the successful journey of entrepreneurship. Dr. Rachna Singla, Professor (Horticulture) gave information about plantation and nutrition gardening. Dr. Hardeep Singh Sabikhi, Assistant Professor (Plant Protection) guided on beekeeping as an enterprise. Earlier, entrepreneurs Ms. Harpreet Kaur (Alhoran Khurd), Ms. Sunita Rani (Kalyan), Ms. Jasbir Kaur Sohi (Nabha), Ms. Sheron Rani (Masingan), Ms. Aarti (Nabha) and Ms. Sangeeta (Nabha) talked about their entrepreneurial journey. They encouraged the participants to keep in touch with KVK Patiala for guidance and motivation. Successful entrepreneurs were felicitated by the KVK team. Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Assistant Professor (Agricultural Sciences) presented the vote of thanks and spoke about indoor air pollution in the house and measures to reduce it. In the end, the participants visited various exhibition units of KVK and purchased PAU literature.
