This FDP was attended by 210 participants from reputed institutions across India in an online mode.

This FDP was attended by 210 participants from reputed institutions across India in an online mode.
The FDP was conducted under the patronage of Prof. Rajesh Kumar Bhatia, Director, PEC Chandigarh, and co-patronage of Prof. R. M. Belokar. The program was coordinated by Prof. R. S. Walia and Dr. Mohit Tyagi with a joint coordination by Prof. Anju Singla, Dr. Suman Kant, Dr. Rahul O. Vaishya, Dr. Jimmy Karloopia, and Dr. Nidhi Tanwar.
The FDP aimed to address the technological advancements and challenges associated with Industry 4.0, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which focuses on automation, interconnectivity, and real-time optimization in manufacturing. The sessions delved into topics such as cyber-physical systems, smart manufacturing frameworks, and strategies for implementing innovative technologies to transform traditional manufacturing practices into efficient, digitally connected processes.
The program included talks by eminent academicians, scientists, and industry professionals from top institutions of India like IITs/NITs/DRDO/NPL/CSIO and abroad as well. These experts shared cutting-edge insights into advanced manufacturing technologies and their role in revolutionizing industrial practices.
Prof. R. S. Walia, Coordinator and Head, Workshop & Skill Development Centre, added, “This FDP provides a platform for knowledge exchange and skill enhancement, enabling participants to align with global trends in manufacturing technologies.” Dr. Mohit Tyagi, Co-Coordinator of the program, expressed his gratitude to the AICTE’s ATAL Academy for their support, emphasizing the need for continuous upskilling in the ever-evolving landscape of Industry 4.0.
