Mohali, May 4 - Like every year, this year also a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees regarding the foundation day of the temple in Shri Hari Sankirtan Temple Mohali located in Phase-5 of Mohali and the temple is celebrating the foundation day with great enthusiasm. An important meeting of committee officials was held under the chairmanship of temple president Mahesh Manan. During this, all the officials and devotees of the temple participated enthusiastically, in which the chief priest of the temple and his entire team were also present. During this meeting, especially temple head Mahesh Manan, Secretary Surinder Sachdeva, Treasurer Ram Avtar Sharma, Deputy Secretary Kishori Lal, Hansraj Khurana, Sukhram Dhiman, Anoop Sharma, Pramod Sowati, Rajkumar Gupta, Balram Dhanwan and Chandan Singh were also present in the meeting.
During this meeting, it was decided that on the occasion of the establishment of the temple, a huge and grand Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya will be organized in the temple on 12 May 2024, for which all preparations have been started. He told that in Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, Katha Vyas will listen to Shrimad Bhagwat Katha from the mouthpiece of Sureshanand Ji Maharaj. Chief priest of the temple, Shankar Shastri ji said that the officials of the temple committee have immense cooperation in carrying out all kinds of religious works and the work done by them is praiseworthy. He told that a weekly Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya is being organized in the temple from May 12 to May 18, 2024, preparations for which had been started by the temple managers from the month of April and are still going on. He told that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees regarding the installation of Bihari Ji in the temple and around two thousand devotees are expected to attend the program every day. He told that after the conclusion of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha and Maha Aarti, the program of distribution of unbroken Bhandara and Prasad will continue daily for the devotees.
