
Municipal Corporation started 'Swachhta Aapne, Bimari Bhagaye' campaign.
Hoshiarpur- As per the instructions of the Local Bodies Department, the orders of Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur Commissioner Jyoti Bala Mattoo and Joint Commissioner Sandeep Tiwari, 'Swachhta Aapne, Bimari Bhagaye' campaign has been started under the leadership of Health Branch Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar and Sanitary Inspector Sanjeev Kumar Nahar.

In this regard, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Jyoti Bala Mattoo has appealed to the city residents to cooperate with the Municipal Corporation in this campaign, because this campaign can be made successful only with the cooperation of the city residents. He said that under this campaign, cleaning has to be done at various places in the city.
He appealed to the city residents to keep in mind the rainy season and not allow water to accumulate in coolers, broken pots, old junk etc. inside their homes. The drinking water vessels of animals should be cleaned daily and special attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the surroundings. Apart from this, keep wet and dry garbage separately in your homes and give it separately to the cleaning staff.
Do not use plastic, thermocol and plastic envelopes etc. Do not throw garbage on the streets or burn it, as it is very harmful for health and the environment. He said that all citizens should cooperate in keeping their city free from single-use plastic and garbage.
