MLA Jimpa started the work of tubewell to be installed at Bhim Nagar at a cost of Rs 32 lakh.

Hoshiarpur- With the aim of providing relief to the people of the city from water crisis, MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa on Sunday started the work of a new tubewell in Bhim Nagar of Ward No. 17. The total cost of this project will be Rs 32 lakh. MLA Jimpa said that at present about 100 tubewells are actively working in different areas of the city, with the help of which water supply is maintained in a better way.

The total cost of this project will be Rs 32 lakh. MLA Jimpa said that at present about 100 tubewells are actively working in different areas of the city, with the help of which water supply is maintained in a better way.
He said that this time water problem has not been allowed to occur in the city. Jimpa assured that this new tubewell to be installed in Bhim Nagar will be fully operational within 30 days, so that the people of the area can get the necessary water facility. He said that the Punjab government is continuously working to strengthen the basic facilities of the city.
New tubewells are being installed to overcome problems like water crisis so that people do not have to face any kind of problem in summer. Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the Municipal Corporation is monitoring the status of water supply in all the wards of the city and new projects are being started as per the need.
He said that Bhim Nagar had a long standing water problem, which will now be resolved with this new tubewell. MLA Jimpa said that in the coming time such schemes will be started in other parts of the city as well, so that the citizens of Hoshiarpur can get better living facilities.
