Haroli, 29 April: On the closing day of state level Haroli festival, traditional Chhinj (Dangal) competition was organized in Badhera ground today. In this, famous wrestlers from across the state as well as from neighboring states Punjab, Haryana and other countries also participated and showed their strong wrestling moves.

Iranian wrestler Irfan gave a brilliant performance and won Mali, while Sumit wrestler of Sports Una Hostel was the runner-up. In the second category, wrestler Sahil of Beaton was the winner and wrestler Shiv of Badaudi was the runner-up.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister of the state Mr. Mukesh Agnihotri was specially present. He honored the winner and runner-up wrestlers and gave them prizes.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the purpose of organizing traditional games is not only to preserve our cultural heritage, but also to inspire the youth towards sports and keep them away from evils like addiction. He said that such events create a healthy mind and a healthy body, which is essential for the society.
On this occasion, senior Congress leader Mr. Ranjit Rana, Mr. Vinod Bittu, SDM Haroli Mr. Vishal Sharma along with other dignitaries, departmental officers and employees, Panchayat representatives and a large number of common people were present.
