Hoshiarpur- Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishan Kumar is actively working in his constituency. He visits villages and contacts the people of the area and inspects the development work being done. Recently, he visited Lalwan village and met the teachers and students of the government high school there.
He inspected the new library built in the school and heartily praised the teachers for this initiative. It is noteworthy that the teachers of Lalwan School have prepared a convenient and informative library for the students, which has books related to various subjects, inspirational literature, material related to preparation for competitive examinations and a suitable environment for studies.
This library has been dedicated to the great saint poet of Punjabi literature Bhai Veer Singh Ji. Paying tribute to Bhai Veer Singh Ji, MLA Dr. Ishan described this effort of the teachers as inspirational and exemplary and said that this is not just a library, but a means of building the future of the students.
It is a matter of pride to see that the teachers of our government schools are creating such an environment which is in no way less than private institutions. He said that in the coming times, the schools of Chabbewal constituency will become an example for the whole of Punjab. Dr. Ishank said that the aim of our government is not just to change the structure but to provide a strong platform to the students for their overall development. This initiative taken by the teachers is an important step in this direction.
He also appealed to the District Education Officers and other public representatives to adopt these commendable initiatives and give full support to the teachers. The school principal, other staff members and local citizens were also present on this occasion. Everyone described the presence of the MLA as inspirational and expressed hope that the government schools of Chabbewal will become an example for the whole of Punjab in modern education and infrastructural improvement.
