Farmers met with mill managers regarding problems.

Every year, farmers are inconvenienced and the mill runs without electricity. Farmers have to stand in the mill for many days after taking sugarcane, and today too, the situation is the same. The workers of the plant are sitting idle and have not been getting their salaries for four months.
The farmers have crores of rupees in arrears towards the mill. Discussions were held with the mill managers on all these issues. The mill managers assured the farmers that in the coming days, after removing some legal complications, we will take the management of the plant into our own hands and repair the plant and run the mill on time.
Today's gathering was led by Surinder Singh Bains, Harmesh Singh Dhesi, Surinder Singh Mehram Pur, Kulvir Singh Shah Pur, Kulwinder Singh Chahal, Major Singh Usman Pur, Karnail Singh Kazam Pur, Makhan Singh Bhan Majara, Bahadur Singh Dharamkot, Balbir Singh Skoh Pur, Rana Ramji Das Sanawa, Kulbant Singh Gole Wal, Jiwan Das, Kashmira Singh Burj, Karnail Singh Udapar, Gurwinder Singh, New Bains Majara Kalan, Satnam Singh, Ajit Singh Udapar, Parvinder Singh, Sandeep Singh Mintu Sikanderpur and many other farmers were present in the gathering.
The gathering warned the Nawanshahr administration and the mill managers that if the plant does not start getting repaired in the coming days and the farmers' dues are not paid, the union will be forced to launch a tough struggle. For which the Nawanshahr administration will be responsible.
