Patiala:- More than 30 regular participants of the yoga classes conducted at Senior Citizens Park, Urban Estate Phase-3, Patiala, were felicitated with medals for successfully completing three years of continuous yoga practice.
Chief Guest Mr. Vijay Kumar Goel stated that yoga is the best form of exercise for maintaining physical as well as mental health and encouraged everyone to make yoga a part of their daily routine.
The programme was attended by Guest of Honour Dr. Malkit Singh Mann, Assistant Director, Youth Services, Patiala, Ms. Ramandeep Kaur, District Incharge, CM Yoga Patiala, and Mrs. Asha Rani, Retired Deputy Registrar, Punjabi University, Patiala.
All regular participants were honoured with medals in recognition of their dedication, discipline, and commitment to yoga. Mementos were also presented to the dignitaries.
A special honour was conferred upon Mr. Gurdeep Singh, Yoga Trainer, for his outstanding services, dedication, discipline, and contribution towards promoting yoga in the community.
The ceremony concluded with a pledge to continue practising yoga regularly and spreading awareness about healthy living through yoga.
