Hansi: Expressing deep concern over the ongoing indefinite strike by municipal committee, municipal council, and municipal corporation employees across Haryana, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has stated that Chief Minister Nayab Saini should set aside trivial matters and focus on managing his own state. For the past 12 days, people across the state have been forced to endure hellish living conditions amidst filth. Rajendra Sorkhi, a member of the party's National Council and the Hansi District President, stated in a press release that massive amounts of garbage have accumulated in streets, neighborhoods, and intersections across every district and tehsil of the state, making life miserable for local residents. He remarked that the Haryana Chief Minister seems more concerned about Punjab than his own state.
Consequently, he spends two or three days a week in Punjab, attempting to mislead the public with promises of a drug-free and crime-free state and other populist pledges, while his own state of Haryana is plagued by rampant drug abuse and crime. The vigilant and brave people of Punjab have already tested the BJP and will keep the party out of power in the future. The Bhagwant Mann government in Punjab has taken significant public-interest measures for every section of society, leaving the people of the state extremely happy.
He further stated that crime is steadily rising in the state due to the Chief Minister's negligence. Not a single day passes without incidents of murder, robbery, or other serious crimes occurring in the districts. Whenever any section of society takes to the streets to protest for legitimate demands, the police resort to lathi-charges, stone-pelting, or filing cases under severe charges against the protesters themselves—all in an attempt to suppress the voice of the common people and keep them entangled in endless court proceedings. Extending his support to the striking employees of municipalities, municipal councils, and municipal corporations, Rajendra Sorkhi stated that the government should immediately accept their legitimate demands so that operations in all stalled offices can resume smoothly and the deteriorating sanitation situation in the state can be brought under control. The Chief Minister should abandon his obstinacy and prioritize the interests of the state and its people.
