Mohali, September 30:- Today, the ₹10 lakh card under the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme has reached the pockets of the people, and whenever they need it, they can avail free treatment for any illness for a family up to ₹10 lakh. Happiness and relief can clearly be seen on the faces of the people over this, and people feel that the government is living up to the expectations on which they had formed the Aam Aadmi Party government under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann with hope and enthusiasm. This was stated by Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh while talking to journalists. MLA Kulwant Singh had reached villages Suhana and Kumbra today to distribute cards to people under the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme.
He said that a total of 1,80,000 registrations have been completed in the district and the process is continuing further, out of which 42,000 cards have been prepared and delivered, which are being distributed among the people so that they can get their treatment on time, whenever required, under the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that the pro-people schemes launched by the Aam Aadmi Party government led by Bhagwant Singh Mann, including the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme, are being implemented in practice and today the entire Punjab is truly becoming a ‘Hassda Punjab’.
MLA Kulwant Singh further said that some leaders of the opposition party, with the aim of promoting their leader, are creating misunderstandings among the people regarding the Chief Minister Health Bima Yojana, which is an effort to deprive the people of Punjab of the benefits of this scheme.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that the opposition leader should visit the listed private hospitals under this scheme by the Punjab Government and definitely see whether patients are being treated under the scheme or not. If treatment is being provided, the leader should praise the Punjab Government for this scheme, and if it is not being provided, then the people should certainly be informed about it. However, merely making statements according to one’s own wishes and misleading the people of the state regarding this scheme should be avoided.
