Fatehabad, July 6:- As part of the ongoing social campaign aimed at making the district drug-free, the 'Nashamukti Sena' (Anti-Drug Army) organized a program titled 'Ek Samvad-Nashe ke Khilaf' (A Dialogue against Drugs) at Bhatia Nagar and Professor Colony, located in Ward No. 25 of the city. The main objective of this meeting was to raise awareness among local citizens about the ill effects of drugs and to keep the youth away from this addiction with the support of society. 
During the program, the Nashamukti Sena team interacted with the residents to discuss the drug situation in the area and shared information about children affected by it.
Bhawani Singh, founder of the Nashamukti Sena, attended as the keynote speaker. Emphasizing social responsibilities, he stated that it is crucial to keep the new generation away from drugs for the secure future of youth and families. He noted that the cooperation of every member of society is expected for this cause. He appealed to the local people to report those selling narcotics in their vicinity to the organization or the administration without any fear. 
He assured that the name and identity of any citizen providing such information would be kept strictly confidential so that they feel secure. During the discussion, organization officials assured the residents that bringing children or youth who have gone astray and fallen into the grip of addiction back to the right path is their priority. 
The Nashamukti Sena will identify such children and ensure their proper treatment and counseling so that they can become fully healthy. Thereafter, they will be brought back into the mainstream of society by connecting them with education, sports, and other creative social activities.
11-Member Committee to be Formed at Ward Level Bhawani Singh stated that to organize this grassroots battle against drugs more systematically, committees are being formed in every ward of the district. In this sequence, an 11-member social committee will soon be formed in Ward No. 25, which will work to spread awareness at the local level. 
He said that if the government, administration, and the general public work together, society can be completely freed from this evil. At the end of the program, all the ward residents present raised their hands and took a pledge to provide their full support to this awareness campaign. 
On this occasion, Councilor Bant Singh, Nashamukti Sena Fatehabad Block President Lalit, Anil Saini, Ajay Khan Mohammad, Ashok Rattatibba, Saurabh Ratti, Kapil Boswal, Mahendra Master, Dharampal Chawla, Hawa Singh, Purushottam, Anil Thakur, Dinu Ashok Nagar, Rajesh Bishnoi, Surjit Singh, and a large number of the ward's distinguished citizens were present.
