Karnal, December 7: Haryana Assembly Chief Whip Ramkumar Kashyap said that local products need to be marketed today. The government will give all possible support to such fairs in future. The MLAs will sit among themselves and discuss with the Chief Minister to make the fair more grand and useful.
He was addressing as the chief guest on the third day of the four-day Skill Industrial Expo held at Nai Anaj Mandi, Karnal. He inaugurated the fair by lighting the lamp.
Mata Shravan Kaur Deaf Welfare School Chairman Medha Bhandari, Councilor Sankalp Bhandari, Secretary of Haryana Chamber of Commerce Harmeet Singh Happy, Madan Mohan Chaudhary, A. P. S. Chopra, Kuldeep Makkar and educationist Rajveer Dawar were present among many dignitaries.
Medha Bhandari said that the participation of women entrepreneurs in the upcoming expo will be increased to 50 percent.
Harmeet Singh Happy said that in line with the spirit of 'Local for Vocal', this expo is proving to be very useful and the government should cooperate in making it grander.
At the expo, the industrialists of Karnal displayed their various categories of products, with modern agro products being the center of special attraction. Sponsored by MSME, this fair is being organized under the leadership of Chandragupta Dhingra and conducted by Virendra Dhingra.
Stalls of rice industry, salt-sweets, nursery, medicine, agriculture, printing and other industries have become the center of attraction in the fair. The guests were welcomed by Varinder Dhingra, Chandragupta Dhingra and Alkendra Dhingra.
